Let’s take a look at the age limits for NDIS. If your child is less than 7 years old then you need to apply for it to find your eligibility. First and foremost, you need to fulfill certain criterions. Your child should be an Australia citizen in the first place. And you should be a permanent resident in the country. But in case if you have a visa, then you must have protected special category visa. The most important thing is that you must live in the area where NDIS has already been rolled out.  

In case if your child is eligible despite being under the 0-6 years age group then you will have to meet up with NDIS early childhood partner. You need to talk about the goals and needs of your child with the partner. If your child is already getting support from some other services then you need to discuss this with your partner.
